How do you communicate the big idea?

The Advertising Association’s (AA) membership consists of advertisers, ad agencies and media owners. The organisation exists to promote the role, rights and responsibilities of advertising.

AA wanted us to conceive, design and produce its flagship Advertising Pays print and digital report and promo video for publication via the AA’s website and distribution across social media channels and at industry events. The report is used as a tool to lobby government and the media to ensure advertising’s contribution to UK plc is recognised. The content work is a main feature of a networking event held each year at the Palace of Westminster (Parliament) for MPs and relevant stakeholders.

Our creative formula: ‘Value on the line’

The report design utilised the well-known advertising industry concept of ‘the line’ – above/below/through-the line-advertising. Used as a visual device, the line guided the viewer/reader through the report’s narrative and illustrated key case studies.
